Give Cesium a try! I just downloaded it, and I like it much better. I'll give the music app another shot when I get the bigger screen to see if that helps, but this does everything I want, and it's much more customizable.

I really enjoy the Pokémon stickers for iMessage.

The only thing I don't like is that 90% of the songs in my library no longer have lyrics. I spent 4 hours one day adding lyrics to every song in my iTunes library and now i'll have to do it all over again.

Yep. You have to click "custom lyrics" and then add your own.

Tons of my local files that I've ripped from CDs have them. I assume it's pulling the lyrics from the Apple Music database though.

 

Making content easier to find means you spend less time in the app so yes, that was a goal.

 

Why would apple want you to spend less time in an app? If anything, their belief is simplifying the experience will make a customer want to spend more time in said app, especially one that is revenue based. The very issue they had were customers getting frustrated with the app, and not wanting to use the service in return.

I went through a phase where I tediously looked up lyrics online and copied/pasted them all in to iTunes, but none of my songs give me the option to view lyrics on my phone.

 

I'll still give her the benefit of the doubt because that's not something you put into a work group chat. It's not funny even in context. But that's me and maybe their dynamic is different.

But in the defense of the coworkers, they apologized when she confronted them. That's the proper protocol for her and that should have been the end of it. If they continued to make that joke and make her uncomfortable then she could have gone to HR.

But we also don't know if there's more. This is all out of context.

 

Hmm. That seemed presented differently in the Mic story. There will still others and knowing the tech industry I don't doubt their veracity.

 

Oh yeah, I don't think for a second the culture isn't extremely horrible there. I assume that even this one story was the culmination of other harassing acts.

 

I feel like it's harder to find, no? Just to get to my music, I have to tap music->downloaded->artists. Before, I just opened the app and it was at artists.

for those of us who have loaded music onto our phone rather than stream it, because otherwise it will show your entire iTunes collection, not just what you have downloaded to your phone.

I was initially for this updated music app, but I'm figuring out more and more how catered it is to Apple Music users rather than just a general music app.

So tonight I tried opening multiple notifications (Twitter, IG, and messages) in the Notification Center and they wouldn't open at all. Then I would get more notifications from the same apps and they would open. Anyone else have this problem?

 

Same thing was happening to me when I first updated to IOS 10. Just try restarting your phone and that should help
