  1. Yes but have you considered that this career political mouthpiece who pins her partisanship to her forehead is in fact a hired gun and an apolitick?

well, right, I don’t think anyone is defending the virtues of the company and it’s choices in clientele lol. They’re trying to make that money, all they give a shit about is getting richer. That’s definitely gonna lend itself to attracting a certain type of democratic pol and a certain type of customer.

  3. Oh yikes dude really? Fox and the RNC fine, but surely not liberal media? What are you basing this on?

It can’t be overstated how close these relationships are and I’m just 99.999% sure that you’re not coming from a place of facts with these ideas.

Isn’t Psaki about to ink a deal with MSNBC any minute now?? I feel like there’s a lot of mental gymnastics being done to draw a line that doesn’t exist between the political party and the places that high profile members of it go to work when they are outside of the party. The work they are doing is indicative of an ideology, not simply trying to get a bag.

i was making fun of the fact that “the liberal media” doesn’t really exist and all the cozy revolving door jobs that go on between former Dem pols/staffers/strategists/etc and these networks/outlets doesn’t stop them from…well, being moderate right wing shills that undercut the Dem party at nearly every turn lol. Psaki worked for CNN before the primaries, certainly hasn’t stopped CNN from…doing what CNN does. Which is definitely not helping Dem electoral chances.

  10. I do get what you’re saying but I think you’re dodging that you legit insisted that obvious Dem operatives aren’t analogous to the party infrastructure they serve. I also don’t really know how to break it to you but “Dem operative” and “moderate right wing shill” are the Spider-Man meme. How many times does this party need to tell you exactly who they are?

The fact that Fox News exists and Dem Fox doesn’t isn’t really the point here.

my point was that a revolving door that attracts certain types of Democratic Party members does not mean that organizations actions are or can be taken as a stand in for the Democratic Party itseld

  12. I’m not confused about what you’re saying, I’m confused about how you think it’s true.

You're ignoring/dismissing, wholesale, a fundamental element of how all this works.

“Certain types”? As opposed to the super principled types who definitely don’t coordinate anything in the lobbying & messaging spheres? Come on. The things you’re saying are the foundation of the rhetoric that allows this crony system to exist.

Among the many impossible things that would be true if you were right about the politico environment is the idea that *amazon* picked its operatives on the basis of merit or effectiveness and not the absolute power of relationships and corruption.

yes, certain types. I don’t see the more progressive wing of the party going to work for them when they leave DC.

Im not “ignoring” anything, I’m saying it’s misleading at best to insinuate the DNC was backing Amazon directly because Amazon hired a Dem affiliated pollster/consulting group.

Yeah, I mean i'm not going to say that's definitely what happened or anything, that's just what i gathered from reading through the tweets. a real shame if it's true.
