TK did it. He finally got the Bryan/Punk/Joe in the same promotion together at the same time for the first time in years.

 

What a show. Fantastic way to transition into the new era of ROH. I have no idea what Tony’s plans are but I’m here for all of it.

 

I think the beauty of it not having a TV deal is it can be booked like an indie, which truthfully is TK's strength. Like, making dream matches, letting guys just GO...he's willing to take the risks that no other promoter with real money and big contracts will do.

And all those guys who are sort of borderline where you're like "why hasnt X won in 2 months"...well, they can be running ROH

Yep. I don’t think they really even need TV, but I’ll check it out if they obtain a deal. In my mind Tony show think of ROH like a televised PWG. I think quarterly big events like this are perfect and a good way to offset only having 4 AEW PPV’s. Gimme 4 AEW PPV’s and 4 big ROH cards a year.

the crowd was hot for the main event though.

 

It fascinates me that AEW doesnt run the vignettes live; WWE's entire approach is having the crowd react since its like 50% of RAW to show taped promos or recaps. But how would you not show Danhausens first promo to the crowd?

 

Just watched Bandido/Speedball from Wrestlecon and holy shit Bandido is unbelievable. That match was just as good as tonight’s match and an insane spot fest.

 

Kings of Wrestling is obviously the dream, but getting The American Wolves back in ROH/AEW to have some matches against the younger teams would be fun too.

I hope TK takes ROH and AEW and makes it like Wrestle Kingdom was this year with a NJPW/NOAH crossover event.
