Going through the album now, The Last has been my favorite so far I think. Denzel does it once again, not that I ever had any doubt he would.

 

This is not what I was expecting but its so good

 

ain’t no way truly is a perfect song everyone kills it and that beat is godly

 

this dude is so versatile and consistently drops heat

 

that transition from the first track into walkin is perfect

 

I think this is less immediate for me than I was hoping. I’m just a smidge let down, especially because I thought the 3 singles were/are so fantastic. Still need to spend more time with it though. I think “John Wayne” is high tier.

 

not gonna lie, i was hella let down on my first listen, but damn this is a grower. i'm fucking in love with this.

 

rico nasty verse on ain’t no way is just so damn good

 

think X wing might be my fav track right now.

 

This is a random thing but I always forget this ep exists

 

that DIET remix was one of the first times I heard Benny. still goes hard

 

That EP was the first time I heard Kenny Mason and now I listen to him pretty often. Everyone in here should check him out if they like Denzel or JID, I think he's gonna blow up soon

Angelic Hoodrat was one of the best albums of 2020.

 

After my fourth or fifth listen I reallly think this is a fantastic addition to his discography. Worst Comes To Worst through The Last is great stretch

 

Finally gave this a listen today and it might be my favorite 2022 hip hop album so far.

Fuck, I'm really gonna have to go see him AGAIN on this tour. He is an incredible performer
