Bothers the crap out of me when the guy at the front says he was "suffering" to hold his place. I know he's only 17, but that's a dreadful obliviousness to the state of the world.

I was introduced to Overcast by you about a year ago and I can't imagine going back to the default podcast app! 70 hours saved to date using Smart Speed! Pretty crazy.

 

i dont like the new notifications boxes. seems like it takes up a lot more space while showing a lot less text.

Alright, well, this seals it for me - I need the Plus. I was considering going down to the smaller size.

Updated to ios10 last night. Haven't played with it at all yet but I'm not into what they've done to the music app.

 

It's so much better than it used to be.

 

How so? The huge font is obnoxious and I liked how album images appeared in 9. That's all I've noticed so far.

I do like the new typing noise the phone makes as I write this haha.

 

Cleaner layout, much easier to use. It's goal is to get you in and out as quickly as possible because listening to music shouldn't be laborious.

In the app, there's a settings icon in the upper left corner. When you click that and scroll all the way to the bottom, it tells you how much time you have saved using Smart Speed.

 

I get that. It really hasn't saved me time but whatever. I'll get used to it in time. Will always hate the huge font though. Just ugly.

 

I can get in and out quicker than before.

 

Why The iPhone 7 Sucks (For Everyone Except Apple)

 

Two things I love about this new iTunes update:
1. The Library dropdown menu, so I can now get to playlists without un-hiding the sidebar.
2. The lyrics tab in the "Up Next" menu next to the Now Playing box.

I don't think the point of the AM redesign was to get you "in and out quicker", but more about making the content easier to find.

IMO, they buried some of the smaller things (like button, shuffle, repeat, etc) to bring the actual content more to the forefront.
