I’ve never anticipated an album more in my life.

Need them to tour with Menzingers. Need it.

 

I was hopeful since Jason said it was being billed as a "reunion tour" which to me suggested more than just a tour, but I did not expect them to announce they were already working on a new LP.

 

I’d be surprised if we were waiting until next year for an album. Brian likely has things he’s written that fit more for TGA and now it’s bringing it all together. I can’t see them ever accepting an in-between state like Thursday where there are no songs and some touring. It’s all or nothing.

 

Can’t even begin to imagine what this album will sound like.

Brings way more context at the solo Brian show I saw a month ago. Someone yelled: “play 45!” And Brian gave this smirk death stare for like 6 seconds and didn’t say a word hahaha

 

My kid is gonna be born into a world where the Gaslight Anthem exist :)

Look at this guy who got a Brian Fallon solo show!

 

Hahaha, but really, they left off on their most divisive album of their career and it’s already been eight years since then. Really interested to see where they take things.

 

So excited for this news - I really love Brian's solo music so a part of me will always hope for more of that as well.

Completely guessing here but I’m sure we haven’t heard the end of his solo work. He’ll be like Chuck Ragan, bouncing between both worlds.

Threw on Sink or Swim. Instantly remembered how good this debut is. Angry Johnny And The Radio still rules.

 

The only thing I can really compare this to recently is CM Punk’s return to wrestling. They telegraphed it a little more but I still wound up cheesing like crazy lol
