Blackened death metal originally released last year but re-released on 20 Buck Spin:

 

Ugh Darkest Hour is playing Deliver Us in its entirety on a mini tour and Zao is on the east coast leg of it but it's coming nowhere near here.

Two of my favorite heavy bands and I've only seen each of them once like 15 years ago lol

 

Definitely thinking about driving up to DC date. It's even the day before my birthday so I might have to treat myself to that nostalgia trip.

 

I've mostly fallen out of favor with metalcore but Darkest Hour and Zao I still want to see and almost never skip when they come on shuffle (except for Darkest Hour's 2014 release they did with Sumerian, I never really dug that one). And I've never seen them live so I owe it to middle school/early high school me.
Next year Darkest Hour should do a 20 year anniversary of Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation. I would go in a heartbeat.
