Waterparks was leaking tour dates on instagram earlier:

Houston - July 13
Orlando - July 15
Cleveland - August 2

 

I'll probably be awake tomorrow by the time show is over.

 

Doors at MIDNIGHT????

 

Doors at 11am why is no one doing this?

 

Work, school, people have not woken up from the show they went to that started at midnight, etc.

 

I'd love more weekend matinee shows.

 

Guessing this is sad summer

 

Honestly this would be a fun idea. I think the only problem would be sound issues with nearby businesses during the daytime, but I would absolutely be down.

Hit up an afternoon show, get dinner and some drinks with buds after. Then go to bed at a reasonable hour. Sounds like a great time to me!

 

went to one of these a few years back in Boston/Cambridge. It was Real Friends/Neck Deep if I remember correctly. A+ experience, would do again

The wonder years did this when Greatest Generation came out! The whole concert was over by like idk 1 pm or something. Great day!

 

This was a wonderful day. I drove up from from Bloomington at like 6:00 with a friend, then immediately after the show we drove back down so she could walk in her college graduation. The timing was perfect.

 

They're claiming these are headline dates so maybe not?

 

I got an alert yday for 10 years since the Glamour Kills matinee show at Bottom Lounge and let me tell you that ruled.

 

Probably my second favorite TWY show ever.

 

Saw a Modern Baseball and Tiny Moving Parts matinee at the Barbary in Philly back in the day and it was pretty awesome except for the bands getting blinded every time someone opened the door to the venue

 

Saw Against Me play a matinee show at the Mercury Lounge in NYC in 2011 and it was awesome. Would love for that to become more of a thing, particularly if there is demand for a 2nd or 3rd show.

 

Oh that’s so awesome! A graduation feels so fitting with that album

I've been to two matinees this year and would love to see more happen

Off With Their Heads at 3PM and Restraining Order at 3PM both were sundays and it was great

 

This dynamic Ticketmaster pricing is really nuts. I attempted to buy a face value Muna ticket for $36 + fees, was denied, and now it's $160 platinum plus fees.
