Honestly wasn't expecting any cast additions but he seems funny from what I watched

 

also the other new cast addition is Hunter from Popstar

 

apparently the report of him joining wasnt true

 

I wouldn't say not true, I think it's just not confirmed. It would certainly make sense to hire him, they need another black male cast member now that Jay is gone, and Che wouldn't be very good outside of Weekend Update. Redd was really funny in that movie too

 

Redd is not a cast member, two more in addition to Mikey

Wow. So who is going to be Obama?

 

Since the focus will obviously be on Clinton and Trump, I wouldn't be surprised if Armison just came back for a few times. Is he still on Seth Meyers' show? They both shoot in the same building.

 

Oh lord, I hope not. His Obama was really bad, especially compared to Pharoah. I don't normally watch Meyers, but any time that I do, Armisen's not there.

 

More importantly, what if Ben Carson re-enters the spotlight?

 

Would it be too surprising to see Pharoah return once as Obama this season?

 

Mikey Day will be good, and Melissa Villasenor is a fantastic impressionist. I know absolutely nothing about Alex Moffat but I feel like I've heard/read that name before...

 

So stoked Melissa Villasenor got added to the cast, I've been a fan of hers for a long time now so it's dope seeing her getting the recognition she deserves.

Best season in SNL history coming up. Strap in fuckheads, it's about to get real.

 

Fucking awesome. Their Youtube sketches are so well-written. Granted, they only put out 2-3 a year, but they're still almost all perfect.

 

I would say that is why their sketches are all so good is because they write so few, but they also have a weekly live show that apparently is pretty great as well.
In the last 10 years or so, SNL has morphed from huge cultural lexicon churning out stars into a lil' comedy nerd heaven.

 

Don't know much on thew new writers but I can tell it's gonna be a looooong season with everyone trying to find their voice.

Who knows if Britanick can churn it out on a weekly basis. Always interesting to find out.

 

Hulu has the season premiere listed as October 1st, not sure if this was known previously. Any guesses on who hosts the premiere?

Fingers crossed for Trump again!

 

It's usually someone who shot up in fame over the summer so I wouldn't be surprised if it was Margot Robbie or something

Timberlake has a movie coming out next month too iirc so fingers crossed for that.
