Remake Digimon World. If I could find my PS1 I’d be playing that right now

 

Digimon World 3 is the best Digimon game. The card game in it is just perfect. It's a whole giant side story of its own!

 

It’s really good, I can’t really remember why I didn’t finish it. Actually stunning how bad the reviews for that game are, looking at them now

 

they kiiiiiiiind of did, with re:digitize on PSP (or the updated version on 3DS, which I've never played) which got a fan translation while modernising a lot of the features, or with Next Order on PS4 which gave you 2 Digimon at once and made temporary DNA Digivolving a core(ish) mechanic.

I really like World 1's mechanics but honestly that game kinda blows to play these days, re:digitize did everything it did but better and more comfortably imo, and Next Order was a fairly logical (if not sometimes annoying if your Digimon life cycles get out of sync) next step.

 

I think most modern Digimon games have been pretty average or even just awful.

I love Goemon to bits but there is no way it would ever as a series get as big as Zelda.

I also mourn the loss of Working Designs and the translation of the Goemon PS2 game that was never to be.

 

It could have been if they had a good team and put out more consistent releases back in the day.

There's a parallel universe where it's king.

I really don't think that was entirely their fault, frankly. Sony was a huge barrier to them during the PlayStation days, and refused to approve of them bringing over Goemon. They also refused to approve of them bringing over the Arc and Growlanser games separately, so they were forced to package them together and take any losses that came as a result.

I didn't know this until I read it just now, but I guess they tried to bring games to other consoles as well, but kept getting outbid for the rights, so they were forced to keep working with Sony.

 

I started watching my Crunchyroll shows on the Switch app. If I leave the controller alone for too long while watching an episode the screen darkens and have to press a button or move the joystick to wake it up. Is there a way to change this in the settings?

 

Im super late to the party but I've been trying to clean up my backlog to justify me getting elden ring.. but goddamn Hallow Knight is a phenomenal game. Its hitting all the right notes that Metroid dread hit

I think it’s just a lot of people who never played the other games that fans think are good

It was just fine

They also really need to refine a lot of things if they want people to play competitive though, this game was just so hard for things like that. Also, what about shiny Digimon? I’m surprised they’ve never done that Lol

 

I’ve never had either console but it looked good, I’m just guessing it didn’t do very well though.

 

I love it. I set the dialogue to auto play, place the Switch on my desk while I work, and pretend to do my job

I'm looking forward to playing it. First F-Zero is one of my favorite SNES games ever, and never played any other game in the franchise.

 

really? F-Zero GX was my first and only entry i've played. loved that game, even though i remember the controls (steering/drifting specifically) being hard for young me to handle lol
