I found the Blighttown of Elden Ring…

 

This is probably a stupid question and I'm just missing something, but when you're talking with a vendor and looking at the equipment they have, is there any way to do a side by side comparison with what you're currently wearing? I'm not finding info about this anywhere and it's driving me crazy.

I've just been snapping pictures with my phone and then comparing them that way, not sure what else to do.

I haven't been able to figure that out either but I'm pretty sure you could in past games so hopefully there's a way or they patch it in.

 

I got transported to a WHOLE new area I am not supposed to be in yet. I am talking one hit deaths by the tiniest of enemies...

 

Took out the giant by the coast and explored down there. Went to the coastal cave there and lit the point of grace. Will continue later.

attempted the first boss a couple times but I had a bad summon that charged him early. Will attempt later when I have better items/gear.

 

I killed one boss(?) who I came upon completely by accident. Wasn't too hard but I haven't played a Souls game in forever so it was still super satisfying. (Some dude in a cave filled with wolves)

 

I love the mini bosses in the little caves and shit, super fun fights that you have to pay attention in but aren't super difficult like a traditional boss.

 

No big deal. I have these in my back yard too.

I have a tip and a question. If you are confused how to open up your map, look for the icon below. There will be a pillar and a portion of a map. I am also very confused on how to change spirits.

 

you can just equip a different spirit no?

 

Press start, you will see your pouch on the right side, go to it and press Y (I think for xbox) to choose something to put in there, choose a spirit. Then when you exit the menu, hold Y and the button you assigned it to. When you hold Y it will show a little menu on the bottom left screen.

 

I still have three more days until I’m back home and I just wanna watch someone play through of elden ring until I get home but I gotta keep strong

I've had to work most of the last two days and I'll just keep watching people play the beginning parts I've already done haha. I'm dying to get further into the game, I just know the level design and creatures/bosses are going to get cooler and cooler.

 

yeah that’s why I think I’m ok with watching the first few hours since I know everyone is probably stuck at the same spot until people start to branch out like crazy.
