Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Rodgers continuing to choke in the playoffs and also wrecking GB’s cap is dream scenario

Always do the right thing. Supporter

as long as he demands out again by the time the Lions rebuild is coming together

he says, like 42 year old Rodgers won't be leading Green Bay to playoff wins long after Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes have been fired

    hahahahahahaha

I officially think Kyler Murray is a clown and I’m no longer filtering my opinion of him for the many football fan friends of mine that like him

Also I wonder which has-been QB the Colts will rent for a one year lease in 2022

gotta make sure their ducks are in order to get kicked out of the playoffs by the lowly Jags again in 2022

It’s one thing to have a bad game in the playoffs, happens to a lot of great quarterbacks

but turn on the film Kyler lol and self scout a bit before you run your mouth. This is what happens when you think pocket presence doesn’t matter cause you’re fast - actually good front 7s wreck you in the playoffs.

I would legit say as much as Arizona didn’t seem “prepared” for that game as a whole team… Kyler literally spun sideways right into the defenders *several times* and ruined multiple series that way. At times when he could’ve stepped up in the pocket with proper technique and likely bought himself more time to throw.

Mobile quarterbacks still need to learn how to be controlled in the pocket - for example, Russell Wilson can play that way extremely well too when he has to, and that’s why he’s so good. Cause if a disciplined defense is calling contain blitzes against you and playing good sideline zone coverage on the back-end (say, cover 3 cloud, or cover 4 quarters)… staying in the pocket is the only thing that actually works against that kind of defense. Teams with quality defensive staff & players do know how exactly to stop a running QB if he’s predictable about how he responds to pressure, it’s all about coaching your DL that week to hunt patiently and take different / more conservative angles. Especially for a team that sees Kyler twice a year and knows him well / practices specifically to stop him.

Kyler IS predictable in that way and the Rams fuckin smacked him for it, so it’s kinda silly to point fingers when the entire defensive game plan was focused on what YOU are shitty at

Hard to imagine a worse pick for a team that is trying to win every year; both consdiering what it did to their relationship with their star QB, and who was picked after.

They could have traded up slightly more and had Justin Jefferson (and denied a division opponent a star). Stayed put at 30 and taken Higgins, and used their 4th rounder to get any of the WRs that came in the next 30 picks (Tyler Johnson, DPJ, Mooney, Osborn).

Two of their division rivals best WRs were within reach of their picks that draft

If the Colts can get a 2nd or 3rd for him, its actually not the worst outcome ever for them. I wouldn't have traded for Wentz, but he wasn't that far from returning to that 65+% completion, 30/10 type QB. If he gets all the way there, Colts make the playoffs at least.

    The rivalry is back on

I think Jimmy G is gonna be the Colts QB in 2022 and I hate it

Every time I even think about Justin Jefferson I think about how we fuckin took K’Lavon instead from the same team

Different positions. Different priorities. At least we didn't draft Ruggs or Reagor lol

I feel that but still think GMs should be aggressive about stacking offenses whenever a weapon is BPA. Jefferson fell way low tbh, he and Lamb should’ve both went top 10, both were clearly upper echelon receiver talents who didnt have any question marks at all. And it’s frustrating we didn’t take advantage

For one it’s not like we didn’t need receivers; we absolutely did haha. And for two if they’re comparable talents I’m fine with different priorities…. JJ was clearly elite though and Chaisson was clearly not haha

I pounded the mf’in table for Jefferson especially. Another one of those scenarios where I was certain i was right about a prospect and that his skillset made for an easy transition to dominating in the NFL, but I backed off because people who watch more college ball than me in real time thought Lamb was scarier

as it turns out, just because Chase was elite doesn’t mean that JJ wasn’t also elite in the same offense haha, Chase is probably slightly better but JJ is bigger and stronger without losing that much speed and he actually ran a more diverse route tree usually. And I was right to have JJ as my number one target at pick 20 and consider him a steal. He already broke two Vikings franchise records in his first two seasons.
