I’m not going to lie I started a new run of dark souls and I’m only going to focus on leveling up the uchigitana so yeah that’s where I’m at right now.

 

Prediction:

You still will die a lot

 

I’m going to become a speed runner for only the first three bosses because that’s all I can do

 

has anyone played outriders? downloading it on gamepass now. have heard its fun.

 

I played a couple hours, it deff had a nice little flow/gameplay loop @sophos34. Deff worth trying out.

 

im like a million times better now lol hard to argue with the fact my critical thinking and problem solving skills have evolved far beyond what they were when i was 13, which is what video games ultimately boil down to. at least, thats what a game like HK boils down to, it has surprisingly less to do with dexterity or reaction time, although the latter is definitely important.

 

the combat looks fun, the graphics look decent but a little on the generic side. could see myself getting into it.

 

yeah I'm thinking of combat elements like in FPS's or something like Super Smash, I'd get mopped now playing 13 year old me. Something like SC2 though not a chance since that's more like chess.

 

I’m now at the same level as I was in the first run but of course I’m still going to die a bunch but I like this weapon a lot more

I played through all of Outriders by myself and had a great time with it. Gameplay loop is satisfying

 

I managed to beat that titanite demon that I was struggling with in my first run and now I’m finally facing the butterfly which is cool.

 

Finally started Horizon. It looks fucking beautiful on the PS5

 

Sigh. Now knowing the reason Sony is censoring it like why would you have this response? It’s pretty disgusting and people keep bringing up TLOU which doesn’t have that level of violence

 

yeah I don't think Sony is in the wrong here

 

People keep saying "there's a doggy style sex scene and gore in TLOU2 so why can't this exist?" and then I see people comment with stuff like this and I just don't want to breathe anymore

People are the worst ESPECIALLY gamers.

 

I got it down so now I know I can take out moonlight butterfly this gonna be a breeze.

So I finally got back to playing this and finished the next segment. Again, it's somewhat interesting, but if it weren't for the walkthrough I'm following, I can tell I'd be both lost and frustrated. As it is, I'm just somewhat annoyed by the constant backtracking I have to do.

There's one more segment before the grand finale. Unfortunately, that's the largest and longest segment yet, and it's also the one where something will be chasing me around at some point, so... looking forward to that fresh hell. So far the game has only been unsettling and creepy, but I feel like this is where full blown horror will come into play, and I'm not happy about it.

Anyway, I did already RNG a game to play next, but I've decided to intervene. I'm going to be finishing Psycho-Pass the anime in a minute, so I might as well take the time to play the game, Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness. It takes place in the middle of Season 1, so it'll be a little weird to go back to those characterizations, but I'm otherwise looking forward to it.

 

I probably fall more under the "give the player a warning and an option to skip" when it comes to particularly brutal content but I don't really know Sony's reasons. Iirc they did that with COD 4 no?

 

Oh yeah, I totally forgot the part where they cut off Joel’s face and wore it like a mask.

On a related note, I’m amazed people are still that stangry (stupid and angry) about TLOU2. Like I barely remember what they were even mad about in the first place.
