Damn, the Frusciante sound really makes me feel like it's the summer of 2006 again.

 

It sounds good... real good...

 

kiedis is inarguably the worst vocalist in rock music. just ruins everything he touches. jesus.

 

Ido have a question.... Theres a lot of love for John and I do not read anything that great for Josh, while playing.

Is there something about him that people didnt like, or was it more of people liking the way John played instead?

I like josh's solo stuff and other bands way more than anything this band has ever done. he's also playing guitar for eddie vedder's solo band now and some of their PJ covers have been great

 

I like John's playing too, but this song is so, so bad. The lead single from their last album was way better than this.

i really like Josh’s playing, and probably enjoy I’m With You more than most of their albums.

I think there was always a bit of a Frusciante specter over his shoulder that kept him from really sounding like his own voice, but he has a very cool sound.
