There probably is a better way than what we have now, maybe lottery really is the best option even though it doesn't remove tanking, but I dunno. Loser's bracket in theory is good if football wasn't such a massive injury risk.

I volunteer to be on the committee. The Jags, Dolphins and Jets have been stripped of their #1 pick and those picks have been given to The Bengals, Patriots and Eagles. This is my design.

Also the Jags second round pick is only allowed to be used as part of a trade with the Bucs to acquire Sean Murphy-Bunting. This is my design.

 

I think the draft is fine. You'll never discourage tanking.

 

Yeah, like I don't know if we can do do better, I think we can, but even if we improve on how it works now it's not gonna change the fact that tanking is gonna happen. Might just mitigate it a bit if anything.

 

I know European soccer isn’t perfect but I love academy players and things like that. Instituting something like this would never work though.

Is it really hard to just sign fringe players and not the players the coach wants in order to field a bad team? No player or coach is gonna want that blood on their hands of losing on purpose for a draft pick.
