I’m skeptical about the text screenshot but I definitely easily believe Ross is smearing Flores and that he was pissed Flores wouldnt tank and wouldn’t meet with whoever “prominent QB” is (cough Deshaun Watson) during the tampering period

and I definitely also easily believe that racial stereotypes play into how Flores is miscast as worse than he is

 

if this Flores stuff gets Ross to sell the team, we back on team Flo baby

I know you think you want that, but, if the tampering stuff is true, and the tanking by paying a coach, you're gonna lose a LOT of draft picks this year and next. Like, your dreams of the double 1st rounders in 2023 go away. Chiefs lost a 3rd and a 7th for "tampering" during the legal tampering window. With free agents. Patriots lost a 1st and 4th for messing with game balls. You try and tamper with an active franchise QB...they might legit take an entire draft.

 

The whole Watson thing was weird a few weeks ago when Flores was fired. I thought we had reports that Stephen Ross was into bringing him in, and then all of a sudden it was Flores who wanted him all along? This kinda makes it make sense. Stephen Ross maybe sent out a lot of Flores smear campaign texts

 

Especially when it went from like "Flores and Watson are attached at the the hip" to "Flores does not give a shit about Watson" in like a day

 

it's been reported by John McClain prior that Ross had requested to meet with Deshaun right before the trade deadline

It was definitively a smear by Ross

 

at this point its whatever. I am so tired of the owner and the GM that I want them all cleaned out and if this is what it takes, so be it. Loss of draft picks be damned.

 

I can't blame Brandon, I'd probably give a whole draft for McNair to sell the Texans
