Upheaval Fest in Grand Rapids gets announced on Wednesday. Really hoping it coincides with that Slipknot tour.

They had a guitarist who was kicked out for substantial sexual assault allegations and then proceeded to go on tour with Tiny Moving Parts right after their vocalist has his own issues with sexual assault that the band did hardly anything about. They are a big example of what’s wrong with the pop punk scene.

 

They also still hang out with the band member they kicked out for sexual assault

So happy we got the Cypress Hill leg of that tour.

 

Damn, on one hand I’m happy Slipknot is playing in Cleveland again and on the other I’m disappointed we’re on the first leg of the tour and don’t get Cypress Hill as direct support. Nothing against In This Moment, I’ve just never seen Cypress Hill live.

 

The Head And The Heart is kinda bleh live but the addition of Jade Bird might make me consider going.

 

That’s exactly why I’m considering going haha. Might hit up the Milwaukee date just to see her again.

Damn, kinda bummed the closest date to me is San Diego, but I’m tempted to make the drive for it. Still somehow never seen Slipknot and also been dying to see Cypress Hill for quite some time

B/C market tour in the spring leads me to believe that Incubus/311 is on again this summer
