Pretty stacked tour, some of the venues actually seem too small as they are playing the 5500-capacity Summerstage here in NYC and Julien Baker herself can fill a 3k venue here. I imagine 2nd nights will be added in bigger cities.

I feel like Metallica and muse are in play for lolla and festivals after lolla. Also maybe one of them ends up on Boston calling if rage is dropping off that

It's weird, I consider myself a moderate Julien Baker fan, but I've NEVER heard of anyone else on that tour.

Well, if you’re not one to listen to indie rock/folk much then you probably wouldn’t know who they are even though they’re both pretty big. Also this forum obviously skews punk/pop punk/emo so I’m honestly not surprised there are people on here are unfamiliar with them. They’re both great though and definitely worth listening to.

I've only listened to Van Etten in passing, but Angel Olsen's great!

Anyone heard anything more on the Boston Manor US spring headliner? I would think it would be announced by now.

Set it off LA show got pushed back to next month. It's just that one for some reason. The band hasn't said anything yet either. I found out through ticketmaster email

I'm getting the feeling that it's not just going to be that one

They just made a post and it's just that date. No reason given other than LA is their hometown

  15. My entry for worst crowd is Knocked Loose at every show I've ever seen them at. So much unnecessary touching and I was way off to the side.

Also semi-unrelated but a band calling a city their hometown (and not in a *actually from suburb outside major city and not the actual city* kind of way) when their actual hometown is literally across the damn country is pretty funny. If you're going to lie at least make it seem believable. A simple Google search tells you that band is from Florida lol.

Does it really matter what the "hometown" is? For some people "home" is a concept, not any actual location.

I don't think anyone in the world considers Yellowcard a Jacksonville, FL band but they definitely are. But they're def a Los Angeles band too

Feel like if someone has been settled/based in a place for the majority of their career, they can essentially claim that as their hometown. For example, 311 formed in Omaha but have been LA-based for over 25 years.
