Father John Misty’s first show of the new album cycle (he announced two) is requiring you are fully vaccinated + boosted and masks too. I wonder if more and more tours will require this.

 

She’s suppose to be here in two and a half weeks and we’re the fourth date of the tour. She posted rehearsal photos on her Twitter just an hour ago. I see no chance I’ll see this show anytime soon.

 

Ontario has capacity restrictions again starting today. I believe 50% capacity

So I assume everything will be postponed/cancelled up there

 

If South Africa is any indication, the spike will drop rapidly. However, theres no telling when the peak will be.

 

When this initially got rescheduled I was so happy because it was so far out that it was the first show on my calendar I felt like I knew for SURE would happen….. lol

Just got an email from Sundance about the film festival. They're doing it fully online again this year.

So weird to have tours being postponed/canceled and also having new ones be announced

 

That place has the stickiest floor I have ever seen

 

Why is it weird to announce tours now? Especially when we've seen how much can change both positively/negatively in a matter of months?

Can't bank on April onward being like how it is now

 

It's not always going to be like this, I know that, it's just weird to be disappointed and also excited at the same time with all these announcements (at least for me it is)

Anyone want to take a bet how long this tour lasts?

 

All event spaces are closed now for a few weeks that includes venues. Prior to that it was 50% capacity or 1000 people whichever is lower and no food or drink can be served as masks need to stay on the whole time. I don’t foresee my shows in February going ahead.

Love that it's a three band bill now but yeesh there's no way that's making it past a week

 

Free Throw and crew already got covid in like November when they cancelled so it actually might lol
