Idk - Bite Me still sounds like classic Avril. The video on the previous page and MGK have that same “I have a deeper voice but I’m also trying to sing like Tom Delong” style. You know it when you hear it - imagine MGK singing the line “my girlfriend…”

First band I ever saw live

 

Just confirming how the reverb on vocals were done with speakers in the bathroom and Tom’s shouting vocals being just room mics. It was cool hearing it all isolated. Two different snares on the song from Travis as well as 808s. There was a vocal mistake with auto tune when editing that you can hear at the end of the song during “place your hand in mine” which was neat. Mark also didn’t show up until late. He had no idea what was going on.

 

And theres no place to replay this anywhere?

 

Usually the dude keeps it up for 24 hours. But he didn’t with this one for some reason.

 

Copyright reasons from the label there are certain things he cannot keep up. Happened with a Jimmy Eat World song, but not all of the songs. I think “The Middle” couldn’t be posted after.
