FTR and Lucha Bros just always seem to have such off-timing...every transition to a big spot, FTR seem out of place and its because Lucha Bros run at trainwreck-level speed

Hook is the future. Might not even be a meme at this point. He looked really good.

 

Kinda weird to have Cole/Yuta as the main event unless someone is showing up. Its probably the least compelling match of the show

 

In the same way that Lio Rush manages to make lucha/speed stuff look unique, I was really impressed how he made the catch stuff look dynamic.

 

Can someone explain why Hook became a meme in the first place?

 

He doesnt talk, he's constantly on the screen, he's been in the company a year but only now wrestles. He's basically tailor made to be a meme on the "what if" hype alone. And then there's his look...

Watching Rampage at the bar with some other wrestling fans and I marked hard for the Kata Ha Jime. I’m finally all aboard the Hook train.

 

I know nothing about Hook, but just caught up with his debut and yeah, that kid fucking has IT. Not sure if the hair being cut would make him look like an even bigger star or if whatever that atrocious haircut is kind of adds to the whole thing, but the ring gear and presentation is fucking perfect.
