Will always be my favourite from them. Everything was perfect execution from an artists perspective.

Definitely one of those albums I'd kill to hear the first time again. Violence was such a trip

I often think this about certain albums! Stockholm Syndrome would be killer to hear again with fresh ears.

I think I Miss You was a fresh listen too right? Was Feeling This the only pre release song?

If I remember correctly, I think I remember listening to this album on MTV.com when they used to exclusively stream albums like a week before the actual release day. I know they did that with Sum 41's Chuck when that came out. It's possible they had the track listing on their and only a few pre-released songs too. Super vague memory.

The streaming was kinda sucky too because you couldn't rewind or fast forward/skip tracks. Could've been some sort of software issues on my computer too, so idk haha.

I also remember being obsessed with Obvious at first. I loved the airplane sound right when the bridge hit. It sounded so rad in car speakers turned up to 11.

Untitled is such a big part of who I am that I’m sure if my name was in the dictionary, that would be the photo next to it.

Violence was pre-release, and they were also playing Go and Obvious live.

I don’t recall I Miss You being out before release.

I still think the Blink Crew could create something with the impact of Untitled if they locked themselves in a studio for a few months without cowriters or with the intention to keep the youthful legacy alive. It could be done with Tom or Matt. I also would love 4 Blink eps each one produced by a different member of the band. Can you imagine if we got 12 songs where one member was in the driver's seat for 3-4 songs.

I don't think either of these will happen but those are my pipe dreams.

That’d be an interesting idea to have each person take the lead if they wanted. Or maybe since they take the lead on other side projects/producing jobs they would like to have someone else take on the responsibility so they can work on their musicianship for an album.

I still don’t think Untitled was the revolutionary or shocking work most people do though. Glad other people love it. The idea of locking themselves away to work on something is neat but at this point in their lives that commitment may be harder with other responsibilities.

A new record was worked on so maybe we’ll have to wait a while for these interesting ideas to take shape.

This could happen now that their kids have all grown up. It would be great for them. Just put porn on the TVs again and rent a home for a summer.

I think the AOL Session videos of them playing Feeling This, Go, Obvious, Down and Violence were released before the album came out since it was recorded in early November.

The Dollabill Tour also started before the album was officially released, and they were playing some stuff live pre-release then too. Down and Easy Target.

Yeah, after all Mark has been through lately, obviously any remotely empathetic person only wants Blink to be an outlet of joy and positivity for all involved.

As an old fan who hasn't been on board with anything post Neighborhoods (while also being thrilled people are into the newer stuff which has allowed the band to continue), my selfish wish would be like others have mentioned: For them to rent a space and write only as a 3 piece. And I would be really interested to hear them write with a bit more of a darker, melancholy edge. Obviously this was achieved with Untitled, but it has been elsewhere throughout their careers as well.

I'd like an album that used these songs as inspirations (Untitled tracks are excluded):

Baby Come On and Chapter 13 (When Your Heart Stops Beating)
    Cat Like Thief (BCR)
    Elevator (BCR)
    Emo (Dude Ranch)
Even if She Falls (Neighborhoods) - such a strange song in that Tom forgets to sing like AVA Tom
MH 4.18.11 (Neighborhoods) - lyrics are almost comically dark
    Please Take Me Home (TOYPAJ)
    Rite of Spring (I-Empire)
    Wendy Clear (Enema)

I love his short gray hair. I hope he keeps it that way. He’s embracing that shit. I can totally see him dying it a wild color down the line too.

I must have known the entire album before getting the CD on Day 1 from playing it nonstop on MTV.com the week prior.

Fondly remember my dad coming home and giving me Untitled, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, and G-Unit’s Beg for Mercy all at once.

    Are You Watching Closely?

Im sipping whiskey and watching Blink at Reading in 2014 and thinking this may be the 2nd strongest the band has looked live (aside from Pepsi Smash era Blink). Theyre having a blast and playing well, its coming off the heels of DED... I wonder what would have happened to Blink at this stage if Tom hadn't have gotten his alien break at the same time... Wonder if we'd have gotten untitled 2.0 just over a decade after the original....
