At this point he’s left the band twice to do his own thing. Nostalgia is the right word.

At this point I want to hear what new material they’ve been working on for the follow up to Nine which I really enjoyed. AvA fans seem happy too. It’s nice to hear them say they getting along and talking, and this again happened after a major life moment (Travis plane crash and Mark’s Cancer Battle).

With all the fan theories and hopes, and multiple projects they are in, I kind of just hope Mark continues to do well health-wise and maybe people can just start to appreciate the music we are still lucky enough to get from these guys, even the subsection of fans who just instinctively want to complain about whatever related to this band.

Tom totally would've said, "Yeah...well...I can't talk about that right now....I've got contracts."

I’d be down for another single soon, but at this point I think it’ll be a while.

Bored To Death is the best song that came up from this era for sure but (for me) the rest is very underwhelming and uninspired. And I’m big Skiba and Mark fan!

  8. I'd agree that the vast majority of California and CA DLX is underwhelming and uninspired. But I'd say Nine is a huge step up from that.

I went to a basketball game the other night with a couple of the guys in my band, and our bassist said he'd put Neighborhoods and DED in his top 3 Blink albums, and California and Nine in his bottom 3. And so I barfed and peed all over him. Metaphorically.

Time to kick that person out of the band. For some reason Tom sounds like he’s available sooo…..

I agree with your bass player. I’m also a bass player so it checks out.

do you have a permed mullet, mustache, love metallica, and are you in your early-ish mid 20s? if so, it checks out.

i've kicked him out of our band so many times because of his wrong opinions but he keeps showing up.

That doesn’t describe me, but me and my drummer keep getting kicked out for his love of RHCP and my love of American Idiot.

Jxdn's album was actually not bad, even though it's pretty obviously manufactured at points. Some very solid pop-punk tunes on there

He covered the song on that House of Horrors livestream with Travis on drums. Was pretty much a carbon copy of the original.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

One of the best booklets of all time. Seeing that takes me back to my senior year of high school when everyone in my high school band bought a copy on release day.

My mom went to K-Mart on release day to buy me the unedited version of the album while I was in school. Dope mom.
