Daphne Loves Derby posted their third album, Exit, in full in its demo form on Spotify. It's real good.

They did three this year and from what I heard from friends (didn’t go because I had my daughter this past weekend), they were awesome.

One of my friends went and got to meet the band!

  9. This one takes me back. The only song I've ever heard by this band but it was a great Limewire find back in the day.

  10. I always go back to their one and only album semi-annually. Filled with so many memorable riffs, and the drum work was particularly above the average metalcore level.

Be excellent to each other! Supporter

This may be super Chicago based, but I think about Jane Vinyl every few years. More importantly, the band the singer was in previously, The Mid-Summer Derby, was one of my favorite local bands. Wish I could get my hands on their music again, but can't find it online anywhere aside from an EP they put out after the Jane Vinyl singer left. If anyone has old Mid-Summer Derby songs in their library, let me know.

Never came around to the album that followed this one, but their last album was pretty solid overall. Neither are as great as this one however

While pretty on the Christian side, this band didn’t get a fair shake.

Yeah, I was one of the backers so I definitely remember haha...

It was discussed somewhere on this site a few years ago, but short version is that he promised a ton of rewards, never delivered anything aside from the album, and never refunded anyone, then eventually just went silent on it.

Comment section of the kickstarter kinda sums it up
