Yesssss please take that scumbag down! Man I hope he is forced to step down or better yet charges are brought against him.

 

Damn I was 5/6 predicting the GOTY nominees. I included Forza instead of It Takes Two.

 

Hmm. Don't know how I feel about those nominations.

 

Could not get into Deathloop as much as I wanted to. I’ll try it again after I play a few other games

 

Metroid is my game of the year, and Deathloop, Ratchet, and Psychonauts 2 are all in my top ten so I'm cool with the nominations

 

Pretty much what was expected for GOTY.

 

It Takes Two totally deserves it. What a fun, innovative, engaging game. So much fun with a partner.

 

what about Returnal

He ain't resigning under any circumstances.

 

The board is going to have to remove him.

 

Which I'm sure they won't do. Even if they WANTED to remove him (which is a big "if" considering how much money the company has made during his tenure), it would most likely be extremely espensive to do so, almost cost-prohibitive. If they remove him for cause, he'll likely sue the company because a termination for cause most likely means he won't get any kind of payout on his way out the door and that lawsuit will be an extremely expensive one. And if they don't remove him for cause, they will likely have to pay him a huge sum of money as he goes in the form of a golden parachute. So they may just keep him on for the sole reason that it's cheaper not to remove him.

Granted, this all depends on what his contract say, but I'm sure his contract is highly beneficial to himself.

Capitalism rules doesn't it.

 

…and Forza Horizon 5.

 

Forza 5 didn’t make the list because the release date. It will have to be nominated next year. As for the nominees I’ll vote for Metroid

 

No that's not true, the cutoff date was 11/19 and Forza was nominated in a number of other categories.

I think it just got left off the GOTY list because it came out so recently.

 

Metroid should definitely win. No Returnal is weird and It Takes Two should not be there, but whatever.

For the record, I think Forza not being there is a bigger snub than Returnal, but that's just me.

 

Chicory is the game of the year. Hands down.

 

Games like Forza hardly stand a chance in things like this, even if they are impeccable. That’s just how these things are.

 

The Game Awards = The Grammys as of recent. Highly predictable and just plain annoying.

 

NEO The World Ends With You getting snubbed for Best RPG is a personal attack on me.

They nominated Cyberpunk 2077, Monster Hunter Rise, Scarlet Nexus, Shin Megami Tensei V, and Tales of Arise. Scarlet Nexus isn't even an RPG. And Cyberpunk, come on.
