There’s an update about Origami Angel in their album thread. Alexis removed all their followers and went private and tweeted that they are going into therapy twice a week to get help/get better.

in addition to this, i still dont understand why artists/bands that everyone on this site already hates or never even gave a shit about to begin with are routinely posted here too. half the time it just feels like a tabloid gossip thread and people just say "wow fuck that dude" and move on.

What are some good examples? Not saying you’re wrong, but it seems like the stuff that doesn’t need accountability usually gets called out.

 

I believe this has NOTHING to do with the main guy. The guy in that video was a touring member who was kicked out and arrested years ago.

 

In the comments/follow-up video, she said she used the band name Owl City and not just a single member's name on purpose, presumably because multiple members were involved in the abuse.

That second paragraph doesn't quite fully address the scope of what the allegations were but otherwise this is pretty a decent statement, for all those dorks who always say nobody in here is ever happy with any statement.

I can kind of see that because that's what it turned into. But I think there's a decent contingent of Chorus that cares about each of them. I would hesitate to listen to Carrie Underwood, knowing her views on vaccinations.

I think some of the jokier responses should be called out, but I don't see the problem with pointing out Carrie Underwood has problematic views. Kanye and Madonna - Yeah, I don't know what you do with them at this point.

 

Did anyone here listen to Morgan Wallen prior to that 'saga'? Can't say I'd even heard of him. But every development relating to him gets posted up for a round of eye rolls and fuck-hims.

 

He was, and might still be, one of the biggest modern country artists and Chorus has country music listeners, so I would assume yes.

 

Fair enough. I'm not saying he should have never been brought up in the thread, it's clearly a noteworthy story. I just wonder at what point it becomes unproductive to discuss.
