Finally saw this and I won't repeat everything everyone's said, but..

    1. Loved it.
    2. Wong's enlistment of Shang and Katy at the end has big "you've been drafted now" energy.
    3. It's weird to me how friendly Wong and Abomination seemed to be to each other. Is Abomination in the heel-face turn phase of his career or what's the story there, I wonder?

this movie ruled and it felt good to watch a marvel movie and didn’t wonder the bigger implications yet for the mcu

  9. Great video on the Corridor Crew channel talking about some of the VFX for this:

I love their channel - highly recommended for folks who like the movie making process.

Watched this last night. The visuals were great. I hope we get a sequel to dig into this world a bit more, I don’t know much about Shang Chi outside of the movie

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

just got out of this and absolutely loved it. Wenwu is one of the best Marvel villains ever, he was phenomenal. Awkwafina killed it too

I was floored for the first 20-30 minutes or so then it was just whatever marvel from then on tbh

The humor they tried to inject into the bus scene was such a bad choice.

  23. That's my whole issue with Marvel, especially like Phase 3 and on - any tension or drama is immediately undercut with a joke.

Maybe the reason I don't have an issue with it is because I'm always trying to undercut tension with jokes in real life, so I can relate.

  25. Honestly, that hits home and I should probably appreciate that in the films more haha.
