Borax is one of those household super-compounds with an endless list of uses. Definitely the kind of thing that you either know either lots or nothing about haha
I think most commonly, people use it to clean dishwashers and sink garbage disposals.
But it's also good for some plants/flowers because it kills pests & weeds without killing everything.
