If the main mission of our military today is to kill brown people, should we venerate veterans as much as we normally do? I mean, they join up "thinking" they're protecting the country, when in fact they're just serving the military industrial complex. This has been a question in my mind since the Iraq war invasion, but I never bothered to ask anybody it

 

The House investigators will never see Trump's records. The DC Circuit will side with Biden and then Trump will appeal that, it'll go to his 6-3 Supreme Court and they will rule in his favor. This all won't fully play out until at least summer 2023. By then the Dems will have lost the House and the investigation will be over anyway.

 

Sounds like November 30th is the next date to determine if the appeal will be granted or not. Oral arguments will be heard then; no idea how the process works, but it'd be nice if it was determined on the 30th. The fact that his request has been denied several times now, you would think would mean this last ditch request still won't help him, even if it delays things a bit longer, that the precedent has been set

 

What the fuck are the busy doing... I don't know... Tomorrow?

 

It's insane to be nearly 40 y.o. and think every local restaurant is "farm to table" (expensive).

 

i say no, with room for empathetic acknowledgment that the whole complex preys on the poor and that the ultimate targets for ire are the higher ups/ruling class that feed and perpetuate the system for capitalistic gains
