All about it. Sounds great.

 

One of my favorite things and something I try not to take for granted is that moment when you are listening to a song for the first time and some lyric, melody, etc hits just right and you sort of shake your head and smile because of how good it is….we’ll I had a few of those moments during this song.

This hits all the nostalgic notes but not in a tired way.

 

Sounds very early DC/Shade, I love this song.

 

Sounds like classic Dash which's a huge positive.

 

Enjoyed it too, possibly will get back to it more then to anything in years.

yeah, i'm into this big time. i loved shade of poison trees and would love another record down that lane.

 

Anyone have any insight as to whether we’ll see a full band on this? And if so, Mike Marsh on drums?

 

this was absolutely fantastic. one of the first times in a while where i stopped what i was doing, put my head down, closed my eyes and just listened. so freaking good.

 

that would be pretty great.

 

Mike’s chops are unmatched.

 

Mike is one my favorite drummers. But hasn't he been out of DC for over a decade now? Just like the rest of the band? Heck the last album was just a bunch of session players from what I gathered.

 

This would be amazing but since it’s been so long—not likely. His era in DC is unmatched. Anybody know what he’s doing now?

 

According to his Wikipedia page, he's the touring drummer for The Avett Brothers and he owns a studio in Nashville.

 

Damn. Good for him.

 

The classic D/C lineup I don't think so. Chris has randoms with Scott still on bass though. He did an interview awhile ago mentioning Johnny living in Texas(?) and Mike is with the Avett brothers and doing production I believe.

 

Goodness I miss John. He was such a huge part of the full band era. Especially on ATE

 

I assume it's Kamrada on drums

 

Just cause of Unplugged, the "real" Dashboard lineup for me will always be Chris/Marsh/Lefler/Bonebrake.
