After tonight’s rewatch, Jason Lives might be one of my all time favorite 80s horror slashers. It’s genuinely good and full of laughs, and the characters - especially Megan - absolutely rock.

Hauntedween time! Very excited about this one. 100% going to fall asleep in 20 minutes though

 

Paranormal Activity: Next Of Kin... pretty good! Absolutely has no connection to anything Paranormal Activity has ever been, forgets it’s supposed to be a found footage/mockumentary style film from time to time with full on cinematic shots, and some real odd humor... but pretty good!

Reminded me of a mix between The Visit and Rec

 

I own it on Blu-ray, but I might rewatch the Last Drive in ep on Halloween

 

The Blair Witch Project isn’t streaming! So finally watching His House.

 

I’ll rec Scary Movie (1991) again. Feels like a perfect Halloween/Halloween eve flick. Free on Tubi!

Definitely the Starz app. Maybe Hulu, but I’m not sure if that’s accurate.

 

Hell House 1 is great, sequel is great and don’t bother with the third.

Couldn’t figure out what I felt like watching. Landed on CHUD II: Bud the Chud. I believe I watched this for the first time last Halloween Eve. A ton of fun, cozy feel to it. A solid Halloween viewing!
