Weird coincedence...I just listened to a podcast interview with Elisa Jordana (Juicy Scoop Podcast). She talked about her time in Cobra Starship, mentioning how she was obsessed with Gabe and slept with him. She says she was "cast" for the band, Gabe met her at a club in NYC and told her he needed a "hot girl" in his band. So she decided to take up the keytar.

She mentioned it was a toxic environment being on the road with Cobra. She said Gabe was sleeping with girls every night right in front of her on the bus. She claims they were auditioning her replacement in front of her.

 

Eurgh. It’s rare that I like a band so much (Midtown) but absolutely cannot stand the lead singer. Does not surprise me at all, the creep.

Ok so it looks like no reunion, just two unreleased tracks from the Hot Mess era are getting released along with a vinyl pressing of Hot Mess. Kind of a bummer, was looking forward to new music and possibly a reunion tour. But I’ll take two new songs. The first one is out now and the other is out 11/19
