While not my favorite in the series I always recommend Samus Returns as a starting point. With the the Scan Pulse that not only reveals a good chunk of the map around you, but also makes hidden blocks flash. Plus every time you return Metroid DNA to a Chozo statute it puts a waypoint on the map of where to go next. If you’re simply trying to beat the game and not 100% it, you basically can’t get lost.

 

About two hours into Skyward Sword and pretty mixed on it so far. Very slow start, and I feel like I spend most of my time fighting the control scheme. Hope things pick up soon.

 

I've been playing Metroid Dread and dear god I'm a baby. Why can I handle horror films but this damn E.M.M.I gives me the worst anxiety of life?

 

Kotaku is on a roll with all these terrible articles recently. I know they have an awful new EIC, but this is a whole new level of stupid.

 

I always feel like gaming journalism can’t be hurting that bad it someone gets paid to write all those terrible takes for Kotaku and Polygon

yeah. you exchanges skulls as in heads as in classes, kinda like Headlander, lol

Yeah like Lori said, different Skulls that can create entirely different characters to use. Its nothing cutting edge new but it just is rock solid roguelite play. I played it on steam for a bit it feels way better on switch because I have a macbook haha.
