I think the comment is funny. I really don't think Travis Barker needs defending here.

 

What the fuck is this? Travis being there was distracting, neither of these songs required him on drums.

 

He can fly again, remember? He's everywhere now. Drums or no drums.

 

Travis is omnipresent

 

I hope he’s happy. I am sure he is now. But I hope it stays that way.

Because I feel like the second the Kardashiempire needs a new headline, it’s either baby or divorce or both, and he seems like such a good dude to be used as a tabloid prop.

I don’t follow that family, but there always seem to be athletes and musicians with those sisters. On the flip side, I thought she and Travis are neighbours or something, and had been friends for years.

Either way, his personal life hasn’t really seemed to slow down his work output.

 

laura is 100% right, travis is a horrible human and an abuser who works with fellow horrible humans and abusers.

 

Unless there was a second post I didn’t see, this seems to be more of an attack on his drumming and reputation as a drummer/public figure.

I don’t read that as “Travis is a horrible person” so it sounds like you’re putting your thoughts into Laura’s statement.

That doesn’t mean you or his ex-wife can’t be of that opinion based on how you feel or what you know. Or maybe I’m just reading Laura’s statement differently than you which can happen.

 

I love Laura but this statement seems pretty unnecessary and out of nowhere (unless I missed something)

 

He got engaged to a celebrity, made news for overcoming his fear of flying after surviving a plane crash and he seems to be part of so many guest appearance projects, but I don’t really think that justifies the comment.

So often it’s all about the lead singer, so I guess good for him.

 

Haven’t Against Me! opened for Blink? I feel like they have. She’s just commenting on his drumming style though.

 

The drummer is definitely getting some.

that channel only has a few, but most just ones where Mark plays bass through Blink songs/albums. i want all the random fun stories and shit he tells archived somewhere too...

 

Same. I don't think that exists either. And AFAIK, they get lost to time from Twitch after airing? That seems like a real shame.

Stories are always kind of fun. It’d be cool to hear some of that unreleased stuff he has a drives. I’m sure at this point there’s a ton of it between old records, upcoming records and other projects. It’s a positive sign he has the energy to be doing this kind of stream stuff.

 

Definitely the best one. I could watch this over and over. Especially when he plays "Punk Kid". Hoping to one day be able to hear a demo of that. One day.
