Next Show - Foals April 22nd

There were a few other factors I think contributed to low ticket sales. 1) Both Blink and ADTR played the Amnesia Rockfest festival about a month and a half before this show. That takes place about an hour and a half from Montreal. 2) The show was only announced after Rockfest so there was less time. 3) There were a handful of other big shows/events happening in the city that night.

That definitely makes more sense then. I'd assume if there was a venue with a smaller capacity, they most likely would have gone for that rather than the 15000 cap Bell Centre is.

can't be made fun of Prestigious

Saratoga was packed to the brim all the way out to the lawn on Sunday, it was the most packed I have ever seen the place in 16 years, and I've seen Blink there three times before, one of those times on their reunion tour and another in their prime. Granted, they did some Groupon deals, but it worked out very well for them.

Scranton definitely sold well. It didn't seem it was much less packed than the Weezer/PATD show was and that one was jammed.

  5. I think Camden probably had around 25K people.

The people on the event page on Facebook are so dumb. Someone started a rumor that the Chicago show got cancelled and now everyone thinks it is.

We know it from the silence

I went to the Hartford date and it was definitely packed. Blink sounded fucking great, Skiba CARRIES that band now, it is wild. ADTR sounded / looked overwhelmed by the size of the venue though, but that happens a lot with that genre of music. All in all, a great night (especially for $20 lawn seats).

    Things have changed.

They regularly play the main stage of modern rock festivals to like 30,000 people. I doubt they were overwhelmed. I think they're just awkward dudes.

My parents were about 30 minutes north from Atlantic City on Monday. Just heavy winds and a little rain. The state of emergency was really unnecessary.

Mine were in AC, we were going to meet them there... They said the wind was blowing the sand around and it was stinging people's legs. Also, no one was allowed in the water. If both of those things were the case during the concert,it would have been miserable for both the attendees and workers.

Honestly, if it sold 35k+, they should've moved the show to Bader Field where Metallica had the Orion Festival. I know the beachfront concert was the draw though but they could've made a gametime decision when they knew the hurricane was a bust.

Yeah, they could've moved it into the convention center, but avoided a disaster by keeping all those people out was probably the best move in all honesty

Agreed 100%. Plus it didn't help that NJ called for a State of Emergency on top of everything.

Have you been to a show there where it has rained/thunderstormed? I assume the show goes on unless it's out of control

I've only been to one and it worked out for the best. Had lawn seats to the Project Revolution that had LP, Korn, Snoop and Used and between Used and Snoop it poured. They put things on hold for about an hour to see if it would clear up. Walking around close to when it was clearing up, noticed guards took a break and walked right into the pit right before they show started again. Amazing.

........I'd assume that's probably not how it works out out for everyone.

It was raining sideways at a quick Q101 show I went to and they didn't stop anything.

No Future is the band's favorite new song. Have they played it yet?

  21. Daniel182

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

Yes, they played it pretty often at the beginning of the tour. Then they started swapping it out for The Only Thing That Matters. Now it has been swapped out for San Diego.

Today is the day! Hard to believe this tour has been going on for a month and a half already and still isn't over for another month.
