I had it in my head that it was out next week but yeah it's really great. So much space and I love that drum sound. Oxygen Tent rules.

I'm getting into Altar Of Plagues, certainly because of this thread, and I'm blown away by this song in particular. What a journey.

Any recommendations for acts in that vein? I'm really in the mood for dark sounding stuff lately.

Haha, yeah I've watched a lot of them too. It's an interesting way to get popular, I don't really think you can plan for that to happen either.

 

It's such a wild, out of nowhere song, that happens to be perfect for a reaction-style video. Hearing interviews with the band members, they had no clue whatsoever the song would blow up the way it did. Just goes to show that one song can completely change a band's trajectory

Honestly starting at the beginning is a good bet. My personal favorite is Augment, but that was the last one with their first vocalist. They're on their third now, I believe.

I kinda fell off after Augment tbh but I've since gone back and listened to their newer stuff. It's good, but be prepared for a lot more clean vocals.
