Legitimately playing Metroid in medium size doses so I can enjoy it for more than 2 days.

In the meantime I've been playing this.

It is really damn good.


Also just wrapped up Deaths Gambit Afterlife which was excellent as well.

 

Felt like I should've seen the next boss after a long drought and had a half hour where I was stumped until I found one block that I had to shoot out to progress and get things going again lol

lemme preface this with, i absolutely love Metroid Dread, but holy shit this boss i'm on is getting absolutely infuriating
(spoilers for a boss) does anyone know what to do for the second half of the Kraid fight? because i'm dying like instantly from the lil balls coming from it's belly button, there's just too much going on for me to react

 

You can shoot the balls (for health!), and when he does the goo you have to jump.

So they still haven’t announced an actual date for N64 online? Do you guys think they’re just gonna drop it at some point in the next couple weeks without announcing an actual date?

 

There’s probably going to be another direct later this year, I’m guessing that’s when.

Getting Perfect Dark AND Banjo-Kazooie would be pretty cool. They also need to get Banjo-Tooie though.

Shoot the belly button enough and he will eventually shoot 3 platforms into the wall. Duck under them first to avoid, then the spider magnet thing will fall down and you can use it to ride up to the top and blast missiles in his face.

 

Or you can jump up the platforms right as he’s shooting them one at a time!

 

I think dread took some inspiration from the resident evil remakes with the “just fuckin run” scenes. Also the wild fight choreography reminds me of God Of War.

Ope. I didn’t read Andrew’s redacted comment as I’m trying to avoid spoilers, but I know who it must be based this solution. Lol
Though he was in the first and only trailer I saw, so it’s not much of a spoiler.

 

Ahh, sorry! I thought I was vague enough/didn’t use the name so it would be ok lol. But yeah it’s a very early fight, not too much of a spoiler.

 

The only disappointing thing about Dread was that there was no Ridley

 

it happens like 1 hour in it's pretty benign as far as spoilers go ;)
