Am I missing something? I can maybe see someone pulling some xenophobia from that possibly, but nothing really racist about that tweet. Maybe nationalist.

 

Whether it's expressly racist or not, it's definitely not a helpful thing to say considering how much anti-Asian violence has been going on over the last year and a half

 

I also don’t think making jokes in any way about a portion of your fanbase (in this case, Asian/Chinese people) is a wise idea, especially when it’s about a deadly disease that’s killed lots of people.
