Lots of singles I'm excited to listen to as well with Underoath, Anberlin, Sleeping At Last, Nina Nesbitt, Bartees Strange, Comeback Kid and Chastity all making appearances on my release radar!

Other than all that I'm sure I'll be jamming Thrice, MONO and Turnstile a whole load over the weekend. Turnstile in particular has just clicked after listening to it while I was out for a walk yesterday. The energy and unpredictability of that album is so fresh and exciting. Probably one of the most exhilarating "punk" records since The Shape of Punk to Come.

That Closure In Moscow EP isn't new. It's their 2008 debut but it was taken off Spotify a little while ago and now added back on again today - I assume they were claiming the rights for it back off the label.

There’s some hip hop single out that has zebrahead and sugarcult as additional artists on it today too. Spotify needs to figure out a better way to credit artists (I assume they’re sampled?) or filter this stuff better. Don’t they have all the algorithms and data in the world to figure that out?

 

The new Anberlin single is SO GOOD. When I listened on YouTube it sounded like a really, really strange mix. Listening on Spotify this morning it sounds absolutely wonderful. Glad they're back.
