If I miss out on yet another pair of killer Nightmare on Elm Street shoes, I will die.

Also I can't believe people aren't feeling The Shining ones! It's so much better than the standard carpet pattern used on every Shining product ever.

I totally underestimated the lack of horror movies I'd have in my life when we decided to have a kid. I am experiencing major withdrawal right now haha.

Hahah oh yes...this happens. Actually, what's worse for me was falling out of love with some horror films over their content and their relation to children. My daughter's name is Reagan...I legit had a hard time with the Exorcist for like the first 2 years of her life. It was unsettling to me. Now my kid is a little fuck so I'm fully committed to horror again.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

Happy first day of fall, y'all!

I needed something horror-related to have on that I could passively watch while I work, so I am diving into Shudder's Creepshow. Tobin Bell, Giancarlo Esposito, and Adrienne Barbeau in the first scene - WOW.

Our go-to's for halloween/fall every year have been:

    Ernest Scared Stupid
    Halloweentown(s)
    Hocus Pocus
    Trick R Treat
    Hell Fest
    Killer Klowns From Outer Space
    Phantom of the Megaplex
    Don't Look Under The Bed
Are You Afraid Of The Dark (Random episodes)
    Eerie Indiana (Random Episodes)
    Halloween (Rob Zombie version)
    Toy Story of Terror
    Final Girls
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Original and TCM 2)
    Little Monsters
Hubie Halloween (Newest addition to the list and tradition. We absolutely love it.)

Not all are horror movies, but they still fit the vibe. We make sure to check them off the list haha.

I don’t have a huge list of films. Pretty much whatever is on AMC fear fest whenever I turn on the tv. I always watch Halloween 1, 2 and 4. I’ll watch Friday the 13th parts 2 and 3. Hocus Pocus a dozen times.

Forgot Hubie Halloween, that definitely made it to the list of annual rewatches.

My favorite Halloween related movie quote of all-time is:

"Oh, that Luke dude! He's turned into such a wiener!" - Hip-Sales-Creature, Halloweentown

Undecided if we’re doing a list or not this year. We did well with it last year, but won’t have much time for about three weeks

    watching sorority row before AEW

This is our Hooptober. Like I’ve stated previously, this is like my 4th year in a row attempting to complete it. Required additional viewing for Halloween this year includes It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! Trick R Treat, Hack o Lantern, Murder Party, Grave Encounters, WNUF, Paranorman, Monster House, Hocus Pocus and Scooby Doo and the Witch’s Ghost. Need to see Hubie this year.

This is my Hooptober list: https://boxd.it/df9zW. Went with all first time watches

I also have a friend who puts together watchlists so he'll be releasing one for October that I'll try to mostly keep up with

Definitely want to do some staples like some Halloween sequels and of course Hubie Halloween

I’m not gonna make a list this year, because I never actually end up finishing it and then I get annoyed with myself. I’m just gonna try to run through some things I’ve never seen before.

Started with The Haunting of Hill House, enjoying it so far. Probably move on to Bly Manor after that.

This is not necessarily my favorite genre of horror but I’m watching Martin for the first time and even though it’s nearly too disturbing, the aesthetic is too good for me to shut it off. The home invasion scene is an instant top five most troubling scene. It’s brilliant and horrifying.
