First time since 2004 I won't be seeing them.

I like Sea Level and I assume it's part of a record.

They were great at Slam Dunk. No Radio or Stupid kid was a suprise though.

Yeah i saw them both days and they absolutely smashed it.

They had issues with the bass early in the set on the second day but fixed it quickly and sounded great.

Saw them at Leeds. I was really hoping for Crawl or Sadie to be on the setlist.

Ive commented on the 2020 slam dunk thread if you guys fancy joining in.

One thing I really do like about Alkaline Trio is how unpredictable their set lists can be.

Stupid Kid doesn’t get played that often though. Think I’ve seen them 5 times and they’ve played it maybe once.

Bit of a shame it was the same set list on both days, but guessing it was easier in terms of rehearsals after so long not playing live.

Tweet is down. Is there a release date for an album?

I like Sea Level more but The Excess is pretty cool in a jangley sort of way. Also some cool guitarness going on there. Are we expecting a full length?

I definitely prefer this second one.

It’s a good sign for an album/EP when people like two different songs.

I’m liking these Bygones songs more than I liked the Emergency Room material so far.

Hurricane Season is still the best so far, but we’ll see what else the Bygones have going

For me Sea Level could have been on any of the last couple of Alkaline Trio records and has that same kind of sound as tracks like Young Lovers, Stay, Only Love, etc. All those songs aren’t bad, but just kind of wash over me a bit as filler in an album. The Excess has a bit more interesting structure.

I actually prefer Party Adjacent over Hurricane Season too, but think both are solid records and for different moods.

Feb 11th is a looooooong rollout given this is already the 3rd single.
