I enjoyed it lol - it’s gets a little better after a rough start

 

Well would you look at that...came in here to ask if anyone has been watching Nine Perfect Strangers

 

I saw the first two and did not enjoy. Great cast but the writing is pretty laughable and not a good way. Not sure if i’ll stick with it

 

I've seen that whole bad writing argument alot and don't really get it personally or know the difference but we watched the first 3 episodes tonight and I'm really enjoying it. Much more than I expected

 

Not sure if anyone’s watched the incredible Secret Base documentaries The History of the Seattle Mariners or The Bob Emergency, but they’re multiple installments into The History of the Atlanta Falcons, and it’s fantastic thusfar.

 

They actually did it they got that last season

 

The Mariners doc is one of my favorite pieces of media ever, and this Falcons one has been great as well. The Bob Emergency is also an all-timer

 

The Mariners doc is a legitimate work of genius. To basically narrate a 4 hour Prezi and make me laugh that hard, wipe a couple tears, and get chills more than once? Incredible.

 

There's a doc about the Mariners? Color me interested

 

If this is something they continue doing, I'll watch regardless of the team they cover, but selfishly pray for my Detroit Lions or Tigers. Though I'd like to see a basketball one.

 

I hope they alternate team-specific ones with more focused stuff like The Bob Emergency.

I still need to see the MMA one. I have very little interest in that sport, but I think it's likely they'll make me care about it somehow.

 

The dialogue feels really inauthentic and the characters feel like tropes. I’m also not buying the fact any of them are as tortured as the show wants us to believe—or that Kidman’s character is spooky. It just feels really hollow.

 

That's fair and I get that people very well may not like it I guess just for me I'm able to overlook all of that. It doesn't take much for me to enjoy something in general tbh

 

lmao Netflix can put up any piece of shit and people will demand more of it (looking at you, Manifest).

 

Finished s1 of Deadwood, and I’m obsessed. Just incredible performances from everyone involved.

I started it today and I’m halfway through the first season. It’s not bad but not as good as Last Chance U

 

I watched an episode and a half of titletown high and I think I’m good. Too much focus on the teenage drama.

Ended up watching all of F Boy Island this weekend.
So addicting but so damn infuriating. I can't believe the girls went into the show saying they hate fuck boys, then they fall for the obvious fuck boys, it is officially revealed to them that they're fuck boys, and they still picked them in the end.
