I went to the London one in September, and while we got Limousine, I still am incredibly jealous that Sheffield got all of Deja, must have been such an incredible experience.

It really was! I only went on a fluke too, I was away on holiday when the London date took place so I was gutted I was gonna miss them cus I would have gone there instead, so booked for Sheffield and it was incredible.

Unfortunately I can't afford multiple! For the headlining dates I'll do multiple, but for these expensive Biffy dates I can only do local! Are you going to a few then?

Yeah I'm gonna do three. Will get guest list for London and having Brum as a Christmas present from my brother so only having to pay for Manc. Can't wait, actually been listening to Ellipses today and those first four tracks are dynamite

Got a standing ticket for London for Brand New and Biffy, cost an arm and a leg but will hopefully be worth it! Most likely going alone though unless my friends find tickets; is anyone else here going?

I have tickets to Manc and Birmingham in the bag. Waiting on my friend to come through with confirmation for London as he's sorting that out.

Got a ticket for Birmingham. I do hope their set is closer to an hour.

Yeah, I mean I'm so, so hopeful of this...but Biffy have such an immensely wide catalogue of songs. And they're always on for like two hours in my experience. I pray Brand New start early and can squeeze in an hour.

I'm hoping they're the only support, in which case an hour or so could be possible. Biffy also don't always need too much setup, so could work in their favour.

City and Colour were on for 45 minutes last time. They were on at about 7:15pm to make room for Biffy's long set. So basically, make sure you give yourself enough time to get in. Judging from the stage show at R&L the weekend Biffy's show is gonna be pretty huge.

Master of not knowing what the hell I'm doing.

Only managed to get seating for Manchester. I've never struggled getting tickets to Brand New shows before... Ah well, right next to the stage so I can't complain too much, and I got standing in Birmingham!

Brand New are one of my favourite bands, if not my favourite, but the idea of seeing them in a support slot at the O2 Arena for Biffy Clyro and paying 50 quid for the honour.. I dunno. Maybe I'll regret not getting a ticket, but yeah I'm still really disappointed how it's turned out.

I'm admittedly a little disappointed with it being a Biffy support slot but hey, they end in 2018. This is probably one of the last times they'll ever come here - we'll get this and a headline tour. I'm going to see them as much as I can.

I think that's just my point though.. Considering they've headlined every UK tour they've played since god knows, it just seems shit that now they're winding down they're doing an arena tour with a band as divisive as Biffy. I just. Yeah. I'll definitely regret not getting a ticket but yeah, just could not bring myself to do it ha.

I definitely get what you're saying, but the way I saw it was that they're acknowledging there's only one more headlining tour for the UK, and they're squeezing this slot in as a little extra and a way to tide us over until then. It might not be ideal, but it's something.

Are Biffy considered divisive? I've honestly never heard that be used to describe them... am I just looking in the wrong communities or something?

If I'm being 100% honest I had never heard of them until this tour

I must have missed the memo about Biffy? I've listened here and there for the last couple of years and never saw an issue. "Black Chandelier" is a really good song.

    What am I missing?

I feel like I've heard the name Biffy quite a bit but I definitely couldn't recall any of their songs. But I also don't think they're as big in the US as they are in the UK (correct me if I'm wrong)

They've been huge in the UK. Many Of Horror was overplayed to death, as was Mountains. Given the accents and that, I never imagined them taking off abroad, but I really wouldn't know.

I'm a huge fan of both bands but Biffy are a much bigger act in the UK, just last week they headlined Reading/Leeds festival for the second time and since fourth album Puzzle in 2006 they've received pretty solid air-play across here. They are also a really brilliant live band, when they headlined T in the Park in 2014 it was an easy top 5 gig of all time for me. For any Brand New fans that haven't heard much of them it's probably best to start with the first album Blackened Sky and see how you go from there.

Well, I think they're divisive in the way that Muse are divisive. Not saying it's deserved of course! The reaction I've seen, mostly, has been negative towards Biffy.
