It’s always a toss up between Disambiguation and LITSOS for the top spot depending on my mood. This week I’m going with:

    Disambiguation > LITSOS > DTGL > Erase Me > TOCS > TCOT

  4. Lit Sauce and Ø are numbers 2 and 3 for me for sure, but DTGL just really has a special place in my heart that makes it hard for me to put it anywhere besides the top

  5. LightWithoutHeat

If I could just forget it

I started with The Changing of Times and I’ll always love that record, but it might as well be a different band (except for When the Sun Sleeps which still rules).

    lmao I love "Lit Sauce"

I still really like The Changing of Times. Maylene had some serious bangers too

  7. It really bums me out they aren't on Spotify (anymore?)

  8. Ø Disambiguation
    Define The Great Line
Lost In The Sound Of Separation
    They're Only Chasing Safety
    Erase Me
    The Changing Of Times
    Cries Of The Past
    Act Of Depression

Adding the first two albums as I recently revisited them and, after countless tries, that was my first time appreciating what I was hearing. I would also revisit Erase Me over TOCS. Even though the latter is much better, this isn't a sound I gravitate towards these days. The Changing Of Times is definitely underrated, Angel Below's intro always gets me so pumped up.

edit: Thinking about it, I might put Erase Me below The Changing Of Times instead, I also have so much nostalgia for that album.

I dunno where Erase Me goes, I haven't given it a ton of listens, but probably somewhere in the middle

pre-TOCS stuff at the bottom though, no question

I don't know what it is, but I thought Dallas was terrible with Underoath but I love me some Maylene, I guess I think their style just works much better for his voice or he just became a better vocalist

he def improved a lot, his Underoath screaming was so one-note but he had a lot more range on Maylene. couldn't believe how good his cleans were too

echoing that "Angel Below" is a banger

The sauce is lit or you’re lost in the sauce? I could see either working here.

I used to like it when it was first released and I was in high school. Now, I can't even listen to it.

Every time I think I love a different Underoath album, LITSOS still pulls me in close and whispers "you sure about that?".

I think DTGL holds their best songs individually, but LITSOS is just so well-rounded as a whole and flows so effortlessly as an album.

they're only chasing safety is actually very very good

  19. TOCS and Define are the only two I actually go out of my way to listen to. And it's generally just TOCS.

UPDATE: I finally got my two replacements. Took 4 months from the time I emailed them about it. I'd actually forgotten about them, and we moved since then. USPS came to the door stating we owed an additional $10 in shipping for something, and I was confused. Postman had to take it back to the post office and I had to pick it back up the next day. Apparently the shipping they chose didn't include forwarded mail. Anyways, happy to have the replacements at last.

  22. While looking up the Observatory livestreams, I stumbled upon this Rock Am Ring set from 2019 I had never seen before. Probably the only proshot one we've got for many Erase Me cuts.

    1:49 — «On My Teeth»
    5:27 — «Rapture»
9:50 – «It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door»

    22:37 – «Breathing In А New Mentality»
    26:20 – «No Frame»

    House of Protect Ron.

I am so glad they kept No Frame. It is by far my favorite Erase Me song and it is such a good curveball in the setlist. They did a radio rock festival in Central Wisconsin and there was torrential downpour mid set list. The rain came right when the song goes nuts with screams and synth. They finished the song and the fest cut all sound. It was one of my favorite UO live moments ever.

I would love an album with Tim and Chris way overstepping with their influences the same way Erase Me was Aaron and Spencer running wild with their impulses. Give me 10 No Frame style songs. Tim living out his EDM DJ dreams every time they play No Frame live.
