Okay, this song is fire. What album would you recommend I start with? They only have two, right?

 

I personally enjoy Pala more, but the highs of their s/t might be a bit higher. The s/t also has more of their "classic" hits, apparently.

 

Gotcha. I’m checking Pala first since I dug that song from it so much... this opening track’s instrumentation gives me Tears For Fears vibes! This is sick. Thanks for the rec!

 

Any new news on these guys? I was just giving their catalog a spin this afternoon and man they have some groovy tracks.

 

I wondered the same last week weirdly and it seems they're in the studio recording currently. They've been posting YouTube updates but I haven't checked any out.

I hate how this website so casually throws around these terms. This was stamped out like 4 years ago. Not everyone is a scum bag.

 

Rob strong-armed his accuser into retracting her claims with the threat of legal action, very much a ‘we’ll sue you into the ground if you don’t shut up’ kind of deal. That’s the only reason why it went away.

 

Is there proof of that?

 

Weren't there multiple people saying he was inappropriate with them?

Still not seeing multiple reports... and in regards to the first tweet you shared they did tell their fans to leave her alone...

EDIT: I feel like I should that I am in no way attempting to defend them here. I was honestly just curious if anything further ever came out of it besides the first tweet that was deleted.

 

There were multiple floating around Twitter, I think one allegation was more serious than the other in terms of what I saw. I get that this band's music is good (I genuinely think that it is) but there are other good bands that you can support that haven't had multiple people make misconduct allegations against their singer.

 

They released a new song last week and it's just as weird but as good as Manchester Super Reds No.1 Fan.

Ps I have no idea if anything else came from the above but let me know otherwise.

 

Gumshield is so damn good. Killer. Infectious x10000. I'm already having a problem trying to not overplay it. I hate long album rollouts!

 

Never heard any songs from these guys before Gumshield which I heard on the radio when it first came out, and it has made me work backwards through their catalogue, and I can't believe I missed them for all this time. Tightrope is a highlight, one of the catchiest choruses I've heard.

 

Hot damn. Digging this harddddd.

 

Love how different the new song is compared to the last two singles. The new album is shaping up to be a good one
