For Your Health is one of probably less than 10 Twitter accounts I have muted. I can’t do it.

 

Another band whose Twitter presence is unbearable. Starting shit on there every single week.

 

The Pinegrove situation sucks because unless you are literally on this website, where friends of the survivor have posted that they are uncomfortable with the band’s return, then you don’t have all the information.

Waters are further muddied if a listener decides to read the very first result and article found searching "pinegrove allegations" (reason.com article)

 

While things are definitely muddled, it’s still extremely inappropriate for For Your Health to tweet what they tweeted. Reducing what happened into a “joke” tweet shows to me they don’t really care about the facts or how the survivor feels (because if they did they would know not to tweet that to potentially hurt the survivors feelings)

I’m not here to shit on their music because I think For Your Health brings important representation to the scene and I personally enjoyed their album they put out this year. I’m just annoyed that a band like them has this edgy joking persona on Twitter.

Same with Heart Attack Man. I don’t find their music awful but me liking their music is completely ruined by their online persona. I care more about the harm they are doing with their social media posts vs how their music sounds, honestly.

 

Yeah I was being facetious but those are two examples I totally back. Can't stand either of them exactly because of their terrible Twitter presences.

I remember when this first came out. I thought there was a report that claimed they both abused each other, but I can't be 100% sure.

 

I recall him either being aquitted of this or it getting resolved somehow, I just remember it wasn’t a cut-and-dry thing (very well could be wrong though)
