  4. Def report back! Don't want to overhype, but as someone with some reservations about De Palma (and Travolta), it was one of the best first watches I've had in a very long time.

so this might not end up being horror but I know a lot of you are into arthouse films too and maybe it does end up having a horror element to it but it just popped up on YouTube and I think it looks great so I wanted to share:

Trying to get through Dark Star to complete my Carpenter watch and to listen the Blank Check episode, but it's rough. A big warning to any photosensitive people out there, the first 15 minutes is a lot of flashing lights and I don't expect that to get better. I might have to turn it off.

Edit: it got a lot better once I realized it was a comedy. The lights chilled out shortly after I posted as well.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

    Midnight Mass looks so dope

Hamish Linklater is the only actor who can sit in a room and smugly interrogate the protagonist and make every second absolutely riveting

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

That's a no-brainer purchase for me. One of my all-time favs.

It’s super weird seeing the paramount logo in the trailer.

Woke up wanting to watch The Blair Witch for some reason. Decided instead to throw on Curse of the Blair Witch, the mockumentary that aired on SyFy before the movie was released to make it seem more believable.

I will never forget being a kid, seeing the og Blair Witch Project at the drive in with my mom and older sister, and then being terrified of the woods for years after. The viral marketing was top notch and I totally believed it was real lol. I remember seeing the merch at Hot Topic which were missing posters of the main characters and a bunch of other stuff. Never knew they went on tv and did talk shows to help people calm down until I was much older.

  24. A Classic Horror Story was dumb, but fun. Very stylish.

Between that and The Suicide Squad, I got in the mood to rewatch The Belko Experiment, and...woof. I remembered it being bad, but not that bad.

so far the story is more interesting than the first three seasons, so I'm all in. I'm sure it will fall apart and piss me off in the end tho.
