dexter from the offspring is a doctor of molecular biology who has done significant research in finding a cure for HIV. Not 100% relevant to Covid, but you can imagine that he has excellent insight into vaccines and wouldn’t fire his drummer if this was a valid purely medical issue.

The agenda’s right in the name- the “Advancement of Colored People.” Wallen seems super down to show his ass on the fact that he doesn’t want to help.

  4. Seems like he's learned a lot!

Pretty unbelievable that Chase Rice referred to Morgan Wallen maybe learning not to say the n-word as "getting fixed"

Ah yes. It's cancel culture that's the real problem here. Not the guy that had to issue like four apologies that blamed social media.

    Things have changed.

I'm not sure it's appropriate to tell someone who's both a woman and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community – two groups DaBaby made hateful comments about – about to shut up about the situation. She certainly has a different position of power compared to non-famous people, but still...

That type of PR 'good will' stuff makes me cringe, how about don't advertise this type of reaching out and just do it.

How many times are artists dragged on social media because they DON'T comment about stuff that their fans find important? They're damned if they do, damned if they don't.

it's the type of response that I wouldn't say "shut the fuck up " to but it just feels naïve to put the focus of it on "cancel culture" as a way of soothing him like, well, a baby lol

I think it matters more if they're germane to the situation, like Dua Lipa, whose song he's featured on is topping the charts and he's benefitting from, while she profits greatly from her very large LGBTQ+ crowd. I don't imagine people were breaking down Miley's door to get a comment. We didn't need to know she's reaching out and also blaming cancel culture.

I don't care what she identifies as, it's a dumb action to take to a homophobe and woman beater.

While I think her statement was not great, the immediate response telling her to “shut the fuck up” (something women are often told, as if their opinion does not matter) is not the right thing to do. As someone who identifies with two groups of people DaBaby harmed through his words, she has input that likely many of the people quick to tell her to shut up do not have. Saying “I don’t care what she identifies as” also diminishes her perspective on the situation.

what the fuck good is it doing getting mad at Miley? DaBaby is already facing pretty massive financial consequences for his actions, big deal if a member of the LGBQT+ community wants to be like hey let’s talk. I seriously can’t wrap my head around why that’s worth getting angry about in this scenario. It’s either who cares or maybe she’ll get through to him on some level.

I mean I've been kind of done with Bieber for years now but yea I wouldn't be totally surprised if his fame level shielded him from hearing about that. But I'm also not gonna fight that because lol Justin Bieber
