For the technically impaired, how does one make sure they have the corrected version of the album...???

To be safe I’d imagine you could just delete from library and add it back.

I feel like this really clicked into place beyond 'I like the songs' today listening to 45. Glad I waited on listening to that one. Got the emotions going.

honestly this might be my favorite bleachers album. very raw and organic sounding, a lot more laid back. big fan.

The only place I really noticed any production / mixing / mastering issues was for the first part of the song How Dare You Want More I feel like it is really hard to hear Jack and make out what he's singing, and it's hard to hear some of the instruments, but it seems to work itself out by the end of the song. Otherwise I think this album sounded great.

I do think it was an odd choice to end the album on back-to-back-to-back slow songs though, especially with the clearly best song out of the 3 going first. Kinda makes the album just peter out... I listened to this album for the first time just now driving home, and I have to admit I didn't really understand the mixed reactions as the whole first part of the album was playing. I thought anyone who said this was anything less than spectacular was crazy. But then as soon as 45 was over I felt like the album was basically done even though there's still a couple tracks left. Neither one was bad though and maybe I'll feel them more on future listens.

Definitely agree on the last two songs. They’re fine, but pretty unspectacular. More noticeable when the first two albums end in relatively grandiose fashion.

Had a 4 hour road trip with the album and with the normal mix I think its fine. The mix really takes away from a couple songs but I enjoyed all songs except for secret life.

    It's all hell.

I think I listened to the singles too much in prep for this, and was hoping for some Springsteeny grandiosity like The River or Jungleland to appear somewhere on the album.

Still really enjoy everything here though. 91 is a great opener.

I like the new mix a lot more, but I had to turn of Dolby Atmos. That sounds like absolute shit when it's turned on.

Would never happen but honestly Chinatown is so good that I kinda wish Springsteen would do a whole ToL style album with Jack.

I understand not being a "vocalist" and having that kinda voice that kinda needs that reverb but this is a little more than usual huh.

is it the same for you? Prestigious

I don't think questioning Jack's vocal abilities makes much sense when it hasn't been an issue on previous albums. Like, maybe he's grown to be less confident about it in the past four years, but the production feels more like an artistic choice than something meant to compensate.

I really loved this. This one feels a little smaller in a really good way to me. Both this and the Clairo record feel like a new direction for him
