Let me preface this by saying I love the band and I'm glad they're touring again, but:

1) Either "Let's not shit ourselves" or "Road to Joy" should be played at every BE show, it should be law. "One for you" is kind of weak as a closer so that's an easy swap.
2) Not enough digital ash. Throw "easy/lucky/free" on there somewhere

 

I'm going to be an inconsolable mess on the third.

 

Fuck I wish they were coming to Cleveland.

Waiting all these years to see the band live was worth it. Last night was an incredible experience.

The string and horn sections added such power. Bright Eyes are firing on all cylinders.

A killer setlist covering the catalogue. It was very inspiring.

 

I didn't really consider that Jon Theodore would be part of the touring band, but holy shit did he make the songs hit.

 

Also, it was very funny to watch Mike having the time of his life, just so happy to be there, an absolute joy, and then Nate is doing his best Severus Snape impression for the whole show.

 

Throughout the first song I was thinking wow this dude is killing it *wait a minute.. i know that guy..*

They did last night.

 

Wound up having to skip last night due to some medical issues with my daughter. Kind of bummed. Looked like a decent set but a bit heavy on People’s Key. Guess that makes sense though. Hope everyone that gets to see a show has a great time.

Really hoping they pull out a few different things for the NYC show tomorrow.

 

I’m hearing shows are started to get postponed :(

 

Yeah sundays Terminal 5 show in NYC seems to be cancelled from what I see on twitter. The country is about to go right back into another lockdown, so its not surprising an indoor show gets canned.

 

Yea they’re just nixing the indoor ones for now.

 

Its very smart, IMO, but i do feel for those who had tix and are vax’d/felt comfortable enough going.
